TINSEL + Botkier: Peering Into the Future

Earlier this week, we designed a dinner party for Botkier bags to celebrate their rebrand: Botkier New York. They wanted the evening to feel luxurious, mysterious, and distinctly New York City-chic. What better base palette than to start with black and gold? (You know how we love our TINSEL Gold and our uniform: black on black on black. On black.)

The theme was "The Future of Botkier," and among the guests were the AstroTwins, Ophira and Tali, so naturally, we used various "future"-oriented décor elements like gilded cards, glass orbs, gemstones, and crystal glasses. Even Ms. Kate Mara from House of Cards got in on the fun.

Some teaser shots taken on our phones:

Croc-skin textured chargers framed geometric gold foil-stamped menus of delicious fare by The Waverly Inn. And at the heart of it all, we showcased floral centerpieces in geometric vases filled with gilded leaves, roses, thistle, and dahlias in full bloom.

Agate coasters with handwritten names were used as place cards for each VIP guest. Amethyst clusters and rose gold geometric votive holders added to the texture of a luxurious evening out.

Kaleidoscope crystal glasses allowed each guest to peer into the future. (And have some silly fun with Instagram.)

See? Kate Mara was totally into it.
